POSITION SUMMARY
- The Warehouse Technical Operations position is a dual-function role responsible for the day-to-day operation of Kore-Tek’s warehouse and the overall management of its physical facility. Reporting directly to the CTO, this position ensures that inventory, equipment, and project materials move efficiently in support of customer engagements while also keeping the building itself safe, clean, and fully operational. The role is the single point of accountability for facility uptime, including power, internet connectivity, heating, and cooling, and serves as the on-site responder when issues arise.
- This is a hands-on role intended for someone who takes ownership of both the operational tempo of the warehouse and the condition of the building that houses it. Success in the position is measured by the readiness of materials for deployment, the accuracy of inventory records, and the reliability and presentation of the facility.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Warehouse Operations
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments and equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory tracking and stock records
- Prepare and stage equipment, materials, and tools for upcoming projects and deployments
- Package and ship materials, equipment, and project assets
- Track equipment movement and assist with asset management activities
- Coordinate and organize warehouse inventory, shelving, and storage areas
- Assist with material counts and inventory audits
- Support equipment returns, warranty processing, and vendor coordination
- Assist with managing rental equipment, tracking assets, and return processing
- Coordinate with project teams regarding material and deployment needs
- Coordinate with sister company American Hightech Rentals (AHTR) (Shakopee, MN) on logistics, equipment inspection, vehicle use, and runs between warehouse facilities
Facilities Coordinator
- Serve as the primary point of accountability for the condition, cleanliness, and day-to-day operation of the Kore-Tek facility
- Perform and coordinate routine cleaning, upkeep, and preventive maintenance of the building and common areas
- Manage and respond to service issues affecting core building systems, including electrical power, internet connectivity, heating, security, and cooling (HVAC)
- Act as the first responder when facility-related issues arise, diagnose, escalate, and coordinate with vendors or service providers as needed until resolution
- Maintain relationships with building service providers (janitorial, HVAC, electrical, ISP, landlord/property management) and coordinate scheduled service visits
- Oversee facility safety standards, including emergency egress, signage, fire extinguisher inspections, and general OSHA-aligned housekeeping practices
- Track facility-related expenses, service tickets, and maintenance history
- Recommend improvements to facility layout, security, and operational resilience
Mail, Banking & Vehicle Operations
- Check, collect, and process company mail at designated pickup locations, as needed to ensure timely handling of correspondence, checks, and other deliveries
- Perform check runs to Wells Fargo as applicable, including deposits and related banking errands
- Operate, move, maintain, and use a company vehicle as needed in support of warehouse, facilities, and logistics duties
- Ensure the company vehicle is kept clean, fueled, and in safe operating condition; report any mechanical issues promptly
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel, and any vehicle-related expenses
General
- Support operational initiatives and special projects as assigned by the CTO
- Assist with general administrative and logistics tasks related to warehouse and facility operations
- Maintain a professional, organized environment that reflects Kore-Tek’s brand and standards
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous warehouse, inventory, logistics, operations, or facilities experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and take ownership of outcomes
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and inventory tracking systems
- Ability to lift and move equipment and materials up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable diagnosing basic facility issues (power, HVAC, connectivity) and coordinating with service providers
- Must possess a valid, current driver’s license and a clean driving record; the company vehicle is covered under company-provided insurance
- Experience with networking equipment, technology hardware, or telecommunications equipment is a plus
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Experience with shipping carriers and shipping systems (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
- Experience with inventory management systems
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and OSHA-aligned housekeeping
- Prior facilities, building services, or property management experience
- Experience in a technology or telecommunications environment preferred
